Many museums have held the authority on promoting famous artists like Picasso and Pollock while keeping artists of color in storage until recently. Valentín Concha-Núñez, Art Historian and Educator (MoMA, El Museo del Barrio, Brooklyn Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art), will explore the representation of Latin American Art during an engaging presentation that highlights several masterpieces by Latin American artists from many world-class permanent collections.
