ITPIRâs Shark Tank is a research competition where students learn to pitch an international, policy-relevant idea to a panel of judges in the hopes of winning up to $20,000 in research funds. Shark Tank winners then implement their projects over the course of an academic year with the support and guidance of W&M faculty/staff. Shark Tank grew out of our effort to institutionalize student innovation at ITPIR so that we do not miss the next great idea that might just change the world. This year's judges panel is compromised of outstanding individuals across various fields.
