William & Mary AI Case-a-thon

The Case-a-thon will be held in ISC room 1280, with catering in room 0280. This event is designed as a hybrid between a hack-a-thon and strategic case competition, where students are not only asked to develop functioning applications but also to present their reasoning, frameworks, and design approaches. Student teams will showcase their products, which involve ethical use of off-the-shelf AI tools to solve real problems. The top 3 teams will present their work in the evening after dinner, with a special guest lecture, and a winning team and project will be announced as the culminating event. Here is a timeline of the competition (public welcome!) 2:00–4:30 PM — Team presentations (~15 minutes each, live demos) Held in ISC room 1280 4:30–5:15 PM — Judges initial deliberation 5:15–6:00 PM — Catered dinner (Italian - Sal’s by Victor) Food ISC 0280, alumni and faculty and friends can join student tables in 1280 or 0280 6:00–6:30 PM — Keynote speaker (TBD) Held in ISC room 1280 6:35 PM — Final three teams announced 6:45–7:35 PM — Finalist live demos & presentations Held in ISC room 1280, following the keynote 7:35–8:00 PM — Final deliberation + crowd vote 8:10 PM — Final winning team announced 8:10–9:00 PM — Networking + Wrap-Up
