Alumni Organ Marathon with Tom Marshall

Please join recently retired university organist Tom Marshall at the inaugural "organ marathon" celebration in the Music Arts Center's Concert Hall from 11 am to 1 pm, Saturday October 24. Pieces will be played by W&M alumni, all of whom studied under Tom during his 43-year tenure at W&M, on our own Peragallo organ.
The event is in memory of Tom Flesher '73, who passed away in July. Tom was a lover of all music, an organist himself, a friend to many, and a champion for all of our students throughout his lifetime. He will truly be missed. In his honor, the Thomas Flesher Applied Music Lesson Endowment has been established by the Council of Arts & Sciences which provides music lessons for non-music majors with special consideration for those studying the organ. Your support is appreciated.
We expect a great crowd, and we hope you will join us in celebrating two Toms who have had a lasting impact on organ music in our community.
