Update on Homecoming & Reunion Weekend 2020
Dear Alumni and Friends,
As the pandemic continues with increasing numbers of cases and great uncertainty, we are evaluating our fall programming carefully. Safeguarding the health and safety of everyone in our community and doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 is our highest priority. After thoughtful consideration, deliberation and consultation with the university and the William & Mary Alumni Association Board of Directors, we have made the difficult decision to forgo hosting Homecoming & Reunion Weekend in person this year.
With that in mind, we are moving elements of the weekend online and will postpone others until we can gather safely together again. We are still in the planning phases, but key components of the weekend, including the Sunset Ceremony, will take place virtually. The Alumni House dedication will move to next year at a date and time yet to be determined. We also want to ensure our reunion classes have an opportunity to celebrate together. As updates are available, they will be posted here on the website.
Thank you for your support and flexibility as we navigate the challenges of this difficult time together. Be well and stay safe.
With warmest regards,
